ServicesComputer Telephony Application DevelopmentRMCI Provides the Following Services:
Project SpotlightRMCI provides Interactive Voice Response (IVR) development services. IVR is a telephony technology in which someone uses a touch-tone telephone to interact with a software system acquire information from or enter data into the system database. IVR technology does not require human interaction over the telephone as the user's interaction with the database is predetermined by what the IVR system will allow the user access to. RMCI has developed numerous IVR systems that have functionality that is parallel to an existing web-based application. This allows users without access to the web to enter and access information on the web. These systems are substantially less expensive than traditional telephone-operator based approaches. RMCI was able to strike the most productive balance between human and technology resources by successfully developing and implementing a generic telephony application to meet the requirements at The U. S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM). Using telephone touch pad telephony applications, OPM is able to disseminate information about federal job openings and collect information on applicants. This was accomplished by utilizing industry standard technologies, state of the art development tools, and operating systems to implement fitting solutions to a specific business problem. The telephony application was integrated into OPM's existing web based business systems, allowing applicants to enter relevant personal information which was then processed and dispatched to other systems which provide tracking and scheduling functionality. |
