Project Spotlight
RMCI provides on-site Help Desk technical staff services for the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM). RMCI ensures one-stop support for over 3,200 users of OPM’s Washington, DC local area networks. RMCI provides support for assembly, testing, installation, upgrades, diagnostics, repair, distribution, relocation, and facility planning of PC-based equipment. This equipment includes computers, monitors, printers, plotters, optical character readers, facsimiles, servers, switches, routers, hubs, cabling telephone, and kiosks.
RMCI provides effective support during both routine and emergency situations. On several occasions Internet viruses and worms have attacked federal computer networks including OPM’s. RMCI has immediately updated firewall software to thwart the outside threat, begun extensive testing on internal servers and desktop machines, made any necessary repairs, and kept the client informed of the status and any impacts of the threat and repairs.
